Belgian Beers on Gay St.

It's taken me forever to get this up....but I am finally going to write about Belgium comes to West Chester.
Lance was great about not nagging me, and when I saw that the brew lounge had put something up...I decided it was about time.

What a day! What a bus! 32 of us rode a bus down for the second year in a row. Filled with Sly Fox cans and random 750s that Casey Hughes brought with him. This is always dangerous because by the time you arrive on Gay st....The first thing I kind of wanted was a water. But no...I got a bourbon Quadfather instead. I met some nice folks and enjoyed the company of those I was already acquainted with. A few ladies from my beer club made it out, which resulted in many entertaining photos.

It's hard to say what my favorite Belgian was of the night...I can say I didn't have a bad beer.

Earlier that day before we all bussed it....Casey, April Annie, and her husband- we'll call him...Hugh....went to Farmacia in Old City. They had a limited menu....which I was happy about because I am always trying to order the dish with 10 ingredients from Sabrina's. I never get the Plain Jane breakfast I loved growing up. So I ordered Scrambled Eggs, Bacon and Multigrain toast. And it was the best bacon I've had in quite some time.

We were enjoying a bloody Mary (circa 9:45 am) when I decided to show the gang some pics I took of a mask I put on. I was so sick all Friday..that I bought this energizing detox mask from CVS for $1.99. I didn't think it was a big deal..I know I looked kind of silly. But Casey thought silly enough to make it into a shirt....So we head down to to Gallery, the most awful place on earth, and next thing I know I am a screen. But I looked more like a burn victim.
Casey proudly showed everyone his new creation. There wasn't too much of a mixed reaction. The overall consensus was thumbing down.
I think Curt Decker said something like, "That's just wrong."

Belgium comes to West Chester remains one of the Delaware Valley's favorite annual beer events. The award-winning brewpub hosts their Brewers' reserves about 6 times a year at rotating stores. If you haven't been out there yet-there newest location is in woody chandlerville....Lancaster.

Here's some more photos of characters on the bus gone wild....
