ITHACA Brewing Co. makes a summer splaSH !

It's always fun when New Beers enter into the market.
Last last Tuesday ( yes, I am way behind on posting this) Ithaca made a splash on our city's beer scene as Brewmaster, Jeff O'Neill and owner Dan Mitchell brought the "Spirit of the Fingerlakes" to 13th and Drury at Mcgillins.

They invited Bar owners, managers, and tenders, beer writers, and local brewers to come celebrate their arrival.

They had their "Flower Power" on cask which was my go to for the night.

I had just come from Zahav where Limonanas was the beverage of choice.
Too much bourbon on a Tuesday doesn't make for a good Wednesday.

It was so nice to have a beer. A really great one at that.

The Flower Power is their IPA...A really nice Floral note (simcoe, palisade) and way too smooth for 8%.

They've gone with Penn for Distribution.

    can't get enough Cascazilla and Flower Power.

    right now Matt even has Ithaca 10 (DIPA) on tap at Capones!

  3. Ithaca Night Thursday September 18th Drafting room in Exton will have Ten, White Gold, Flower Power Nut Brown and Cascazilla on Tap. Mcmenamins in Chestnut Hill 6-8 pm will have White gold, Flower Power Nut Brown and Cascazilla on tap. Pub on Passayunk East 8-10 pm will have Ten, White Gold, Flower Power, Nut Brown, Apricot Wheat and Cascazilla on Tap. You just missed last nights event at St. Stephens Green they should still be pouring Ten, White Gold, Cascazilla and Flower Power if you get there soon!
