As excited as I already was about National Pork month, knowing that other people share my excitement only exacerbates said excitement.

So why not post a restaurant/bar pork dish every day for 16 days since Oktoberfest lasted 16 days and we'll call it porktoberfest?

I am almost fested out for the season so I will trade in the lager for the loin. (although I can't wait to drink Sly Fox dunkel next week around the city).

We'll kick things off with a Pork dish from Iron Hill
Choucroute Garni
smoked pork, sausages, bacon, sauerkraut, potatoes and assorted mustards
