I think Birthday cake was 1-30.
This year I started a new tradition- as of last night, the birthday pie.
Anyone else do this?
Alison Barshak of Alison Two (and Alison at Blue Bell) always asked for a pie, even in her youth.
He mother would make her a Ms. Smiths Blueberry one. I bet the chef makes a great blueberry pie herself now;)
This was from a Bucks Co. Orchard, Tabora Farms (Chalfont) consisting of a deliciously doughy crust encasing tart raspberries and apples served with Turkey Hill Philly Style Vanilla (no more Breyers for me).
And no candle.
I kind of wish for things everyday...so why save it all up for one?
