Help support theYoung Survival Coalition tonight @ Bridgids while eating an $8 Soft Shelled Crab Sandwich

Tonight- as in most Mondays- I'll be slingin' beers at Bridgids (24th and Aspen) but tonight is extra special because I will be donating tips to The Young Survival Coalition.

My friend Janine Carroll is doing the Young Survival "tour de pink" this fall. She'll be riding 220 miles to break the cycle of Breast Cancer.
She'll start out in Hershey and ride to Clinton, NJ over a period of 3 days-=- Oct. 2 till the 5th.

I wasn't familiar with the organization before April....when I went on their website and was moved by all the young ladies stories.

I was scheduled to go out to Newtown to guest bartend with Janine @ the Temperance House for the charity tonight...but instead (and more efficiently) I will take my post at my favorite fairmount pub and raise money for the coalition there.

Maybe I'll let you play your ipod for a bit...oh and there will be beer specials.
"And who doesn't like beer specials."
Duvel Green (usually $7) will be $4. Feel free to donate your saved cents to the coalition.

Draft List

Yards PPA, Newbold IPA, Rogue Shakespeare, Ramstein Maibock Troegs Hopback Amber, Avery White Rascal, Lagunitas Undercover Shutdown Ale, Hebrew rejuvenator, Duvel Green, Ommegang Chocolate Indulgence.
There is an Eel River Organic Porter and Troegenator about to go on...
Lastly we've got a special on soft shell crab sandwiches...$8...on toasted white bread, with lettuce beefsteak tomato and Roasted Shallot aioli....comes with a mixed green Salad.
