The weekend in BEER (and chili) (and barbecue)

As I type this I have chili anxiety. 

You can head to Maple Shade Iron Hill for a collaborative event between the brewpub and Flying Fish.  "Jersey's Finest" will be tapped- the blended IH "Half-caff" (based on the Luca Brasi beer aged on whole coffee beans) and Exit 13  (Belgian Chocolate Stout).  "Like a New Jersey Mocha," Lance Romance jested. 
But more seriously, he says "We’re proud to be from New Jersey, and our colleagues at Flying Fish feel the same way...this event is both a fun way to debut our latest beers and also a great opportunity to work alongside like-minded brewers to create a more vibrant brewing culture here in our home state.”

SUNDAY- two things come to mind
*It's the Ommegang beer brunch at Wishing Well.
Best deal ever. You can do the four course brunch with 4-5 oz pairings for $3 or Pay as you go.
Megan Maguire will be there being tall and funny as usual.
I will be there staring up at her and laughing as usual.

THEN at the Khyber Pass Pub 7 pm

You can meet the  acclaimed bbq expert and author, Gary Wiviott, for dinner, drinks and the lowdown on how to make great bbq at home. Gary Wiviott is a bbq “life coach” and the author of Low and Slow: Master The Art Of Barbecue In 5 Easy Lessons.

The family style meal will feature ribs, brisket, smoked duck and pork served alongside fried okra, collard greens, baked beans and more. Paired selections from Khyber Pass Pub’s extensive draft beer menu, as well as Rye whiskey cocktails, will be served with this southern fare.
The dinner also includes a talk by Gary Wiviott with a question and answer period.
