Happy 10 years FOR PETE's SAKE PUB this Wednesday, July 11th.

On July 11, 2002 Peter Quinn and his wife Deidre opened up shop at For Pete's Sake Pub.   It really is the pub that Pete built. He was a cabinet-maker prior. So he had the skillset to do all the construction.  And he along with his great crew, built the neighborhood crowd as well. He's had a few employees/friends like GM Michael Mariani and Mindie Wiener put in several years.  Marcus Wilkerson who recently left to pursue a career at Origlio also clocked in there for nearly ten.

Philly Beer Week 2009

So Wednesday night will be an evening of great celebration at Front and Christian. And it looks like the party plane is coming in from Portland, ME.

For Pete's Sake was the first bar in Philadelphia to give Allagash White a chance on tap several years ago.  Rob will be making the trip in to toast his old friends. He will be there around 5 pm till ?.

If you can make it out -that night- please come by and say Hi to RT and Congrats to Peter, Deidre, Mike, Chef Johnny, and the crew.

For Pete's will also be tapping a special keg of Nodding Head beer.
