This Wednesday- Resurrection toasts THREE years with a whole lotta Allagash

I do a LOT of events. And you know what- they are always different.  The taplist varies. The enthusiasm of the restaurant or bar crew varies. Crowds vary. Sometimes I play cheesy records and other times I eat way too much cheese. And THIS time the bar, Resurrection Ale House, saves 2010 and 2011 Fluxus! Confluence! Bourbon Black! It's a heck of a line-up folks.

I've fallen in love with Resurrection over these last three years.
It's like that quiet unassuming guy that never puts himself out there in any boisterous way- but when he talks you're on his every word. It's where I've had amazing beers at reasonable prices. Where I got to hear Brendan Kingston talk about B. United Zymatore program and had an opportunity to try a beer I will most certainly never sample again. Where I have a good chance of running in to my high school friend Jacey, whom I adore- but don't get to see often because she's a mom now. Resurrection is a comfortable spot for young parents to bring their nuggets if they want to grab a beer. It's where I can meet my sister and her boyfriend who enjoys a vegan diet, because their menu includes many vegan/veg dishes. It's the place where I had my great summer squash freak-out.

They will be sampling their new fall menu as well. I'm excited to see/taste what the new chef, Rhett Vellner has in store for us.

Please stop on by and join the celebration. I'll be there 6 till ?
