Tour De Pink (to the benefit of young breast cancer survivors) Departs Philly on Friday

This Friday my good friend Janine Carroll is riding in the Tour de Pink for the 5th year in a row.

This ride takes her from Philly to DC over the weekend.  It is to the support of young Breast cancer survivors (under 40).

Her biking team leaves Philly at 9 am on Friday morning. They need some fans to cheer them on during their departure so I am headed there at 8:15 am if anyone wants to join me. It's in the Water Works parking lot behind the art museum.  I am going to bike there from the Italian Market area.

Her boyfriend Gary is "along for the ride" with some big time support and is raffling off an Electra OM bike to boot. Each $10 donation gets you a raffle ticket.
