This is Rod Stewart's debut on Tuesday Two-track. He's not my favorite.
I could go on as to why- but this Open Salon article does such a good job describing the rock disaster that is Rod Stewart I will send you their way.
So why include him? I was trying to find a song about Pigs to celebrate Porktoberfest, and almost posted "War Pigs" including the Flaming Lips cover, but I didn't think the rest of the Woodsies would appreciate Black Sabbath on the blog. Today is the anniversary of Rod Stewart's first chart buster, "Maggie May"- and so that's what we'll do.
